Discovery Rule:
A cause of action accrues when a plaintiff knew or should have known that actionable harm was done, is satisfied when the date of the breach and the discovery of the breach are the same. Bragunier Masonry Contractors, Inc. v. The Catholic University of America, 368 Md. 608, 627-628 (Md. 2002).
Personal Injury:
A civil action at law shall be filed within three years from the date it accrues. Md. Code, Courts & Jud. Proc., § 5-101.
Wrongful Death:
A wrongful death action shall be filed within three years after the death of the injured person. Md. Code, Cts and Jud. Proc., § 3-904.
